It has been reported by The Muppet Newsflash that a new Sesame Street Christmas Special called “Elmo’s Christmas Countdown” and will be airing Sunday, December 23, 2007 at 7:00 pm. This hour long show will include everyone on Sesame Street, and have tons of guest star appearances and musical numbers. So clear your schedule, and program your tv recorders, cause Sesame Street is coming to town!

All I can say is “fantastic!” (and from the other half of me…”it’s about time”). Sesame Workshop Has just launched a new section of their website - video.sesameworkshop.org - with clips from Sesame Street, old and new. You can search for your favorites or browse the videos, watch them full-screen, and enjoy that warm fuzzy feeling of seeing some old Muppet friends.
